Hyderabadi biryani
Hyderabadi biryani
It was 78 kilos when I started my journey to the city of badsha’s, Hyderabad. It was quite a pleasing day with all my amigos turned up to my house for a get-to-gather. My mom’s typical south Indian menu added essence to the party.Huggs and hmm no kisses..!!, ended the party and it was time for me to leave the garden city, Bengaluru for three months.
The journey was mixed with DTS effect snoring and few cool babes, single and looking around.
Chabbes sala charminaar mien betaku mereko Marta, maa ki kiri kiri…..!!!!!!! Hope u all remember ANGREZ. As we heard this slang we were definite that we are in HYDERABAD. It was raining quite heavily in bengaluru when I started from there and was quite opposite here. Amma baboi it was around 35 deg. Regretted for carrying sweaters.
We had only 4 days to find an accommodation out of which 3 days were lost in office. We engineers are used to getting our ass burnt at the last minute and we somehow managed to find a hostel. It was LUXURY WORKING MENS HOSTEL, luxury was silent for the owners of that building, We didn’t know it and were happy to pay 3200 bucks pm. It reminded me of a typical lodge in any tourist place. I was accompanied by my two colleagues; one was from udupi and the other from Chennai.
HI-Tech city is what they used to call the place where we stayed, but it resembled more of our KR market.
Pappu chaaru is what Andhra famous for and a mouth watering dish. Trust me; it is prepared more deliciously in Andhra mess here in Bangalore than in actual Andhra.
Hotel nandini, owned by a person from Bangalore came to our rescue. The next three months our bfast was a plate idly and our dinner was M.dosa.
One good thing was, InfoTech which was never a part of our happy moments, gave a surprise with lot n lot of girls in the campus. I call it a happy moment because you can hardly find girls in a company driven with all mechanical engineers. The company bus we were traveling, InfoTech campus, and our department, all were dominated by them, only in numbers though.
And to add to this, our hostel was surrounded by many other hostels with name boards showing arundathi women’s hostel, luxury girls hostel and so on….. Hope u understood what I meant…I managed to flirt with few of the girls, which was the only bright part of the day….
Now u must be thinking my weekend’s would have gone fine with all the girls around…u are extremely wrong…It was so hot in the day n u know about girls they tend to oversee their complexion….I was left with no other choice then to stay back at the hostel..Khair we also have some concern on our complexion….
We had to beat the heat at least to get acquainted to the city and so we managed to go for a city tour and finishing it once for all rather then getting tanned every weekend and it was quite worthy to pay 150 for the trip…
The days gone by and we were burning lot of calories just to live…
And the D-day came when it was finally the farewell party…Next was a stereotype bachelors party….The next day was our journey to bengaluru….
We wanted that night to be the shortest one…But the driver had other plans…The night show started and when I was about to block my face with the blanket against the light, The title showed HAPPY DAYS…!!!…..N I dint close my eyes till it showed shubham, The END…All the agonizing moments that we spent in HYD were washed away within this 3 hours of the movie…
Ummmmmmmmmmm…!!!!! I woke up in the morning and I was back in bangaluru, the garden city ….Weighing machine showed 70 when I ended my journey….
Simple mathematics shows u the struggle for a healthy food during our stay in Hyderabad….
Traffic, cost of living, whatever may be your concerns in bengaluru, But trust me you wont get a climate better than bengaluru, you wont get a better night life than bengaluru, you wont get better hotels than in bengaluru….
That is why I say BeNgaLuRu Rocks…!!!!! Mast maJa MaDi….!!!!!!
